Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On the 14th of February 2011 it was a cloudy and quite cold morning. GiratinaOF was walking to the cave as he saw two colorful eggs with a rose on them. Since it was about to start to rain GiratinaOF took both eggs with him and brought them into the cave. Over some time the eggs grew to lovely adult rosebud dragons. They were named "Valentine's Day Rosebud" and "Rosebud Dragon".

Rosebud Dragon is a beautiful, nice and strong dragon. She has a special smell, her smell is a lot stronger and better than the smell of Valentine's Day Rosebud. She is a pacifist, eats only plants and her best friends are the Ribbon Dancers, the Silvers and the Nebula Dragons. Rosebud Dragon loves flying and if she's not sleeping, around with her friends or taking care of the eggs, she's flying with her beautiful wings, spreading her lovely scent.
