Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the population of Clewts domain grows, so does the responsibility of handling all of its affairs. With this in mind, Clewt decided to raise a dragon who might help with overseeing some of these duties.

Named for his unusual demeanor, Snake-Eyes was found in the Abandoned Caves just like the others. Though Demonic Dream decline the offer to become the ruling dragon, he did agree to become Snake-Eyes Mentor. As time passed Clewt started to notice a difference between Snake and other Black Dragons. Demonic later told him of a rare type of Black Dragon that grow much more in size and strength than a normal Black. Clewt saw this as a good omen.

Snake-Eyes is now the ruling dragon of this domain, and has the established Counsel as guidance.

When the matter of producing an heir arose, Snake asked Shamira Rae to be his mate. She chose to decline. A few years later a young Silver named Rose Cilversea caught his eye. Not long after they became LifeMates. Both live happily with their children.
