Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bracken Frosty was abandoned as an egg and found by one of the Protectors' most helpful dragons—Water's Glider. Bracken was taken to their hideout—a large cave in the side of a gigantic mountain—and raised by all the dragon mothers together. However, Bracken was no ordinary dragon, which was shown when they had brought back a Ridgewing egg. Bracken peered into the future of it, revealing it was most likely a male. Ever since then she has been glowing with a light blue light. However, one of the healers has revealed—she will never use her powers again. This Aeon is always ready for a mission in the dark, due to her glowing scales that can help her fellow dragons see anything. Most of the time Bracken is guarding the entrance, sometimes giving Fire's Candy the chance to guard. Bracken stays near their hideout even when she's scavenging for any food or eggs, maybe even dragon hatchlings that need help. She has been seen eating smalls heaps of fish.
