Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Draconica is kind and gentle to all her dragons, but with Alucard she was particularly careful. When he was found, most of the denmother dragons didn't want anything to do with him so Draconica took him beneath her wings and cared for him herself. When he hatched, he was insecure and frightened. He didn't know what he was, but Draconica loved him nonetheless and taught him how to control his thirst and thrive amongst the other dragons of the clan. Alucard was a perfect night hunter and protector for the clan. But one day, Alucard felt alone, it was the day Draconica would go out into the world and return with the new eggs to present to the clan. While she was gone, the youngest White Dragon laid an egg and left it with Alucard as he had remained in the egg sanctuary and hatchery to await Draconica's return. Alucard was left to guard the egg but he fell prey to his instincts. He bit Snow's egg and he could not fix it. The other dragon shunned him and cursed him. He is no longer trusted.
