Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mezarthim was born shortly before Winter turned to Spring, and was named after the softly-glowing star in Aries that is also found nearest the Vernal Equinox.

She goes by the motto "Strength in Gentleness, Gentleness in Strength" and speaks with a soft voice. Her movements are graceful and effortless and she doesn't join Myrkr-kelda's gang, the Storm Furies, in their flights, preferring to fly alone. She doesn't care for the Storm Furies' boisterous sparring and clashing.

Recently, she seduced a dragon from another tribe, Battue of Tempest. They had two eggs but Mezarthim kept one to herself and is raising it alone. Don't try to take it from her! It's the quiet ones you have to be afraid of.
