Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Glory is the first Silver female to be born to the sanctuary's dragon clans.  Her name was due to the pride of her loving parents and to the envy that was conveyed from other dragons as soon as the news broke out.  Also known as "the princess Shiningscale", Glory is like her older brother in that she feels undeserving of such a title.  She is modest, quiet, and nurturing, and tries not to have an attitude as high in the air as a few of her other siblings.  Her argument is that it is easy to be modest when a dragon has a glow of beauty in bleak darkness, and when they catch the envy of the females or the eyes of wandering males.  All that Glory really tries to do is to be a friendly face and voice to all.
