Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Christmas in the Clouds is always taking to the skies. He surveys his surroundings from above, and then dives down on his "prey", usually consisting of fluttering leaves and small bugs, since he never truly learned to hunt and depends on his owner for food. He is proud and regal, often showing off to the other dragons in his cave by means of strength or skill, or of course flapping his large, brightly colored wings as a way of saying "I am better than you". He demands attention constantly, and can be rather spoiled. Still, he seems to be able to tell when you are upset, and more than makes up for his demanding behavior with little "Kisses", or a sort of present at your feet. He loves to burrow through dried leaves and curl up in a nice, warm corner of his cave to sleep. He seems to have boundless energy, and prances around the cold stone floor in playful joy.
