Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Whenever she spreads her wings, Saira is doomed to go wherever the wind takes her. But that is fine with her, it just means that every day is an adventure. Sometimes disappearing for days at a time, few dragons in the Ruda Clan are worried about her. After all, she is made of paper. Hardly a threat to anyone, and she has no need for food and water. Because she's often away, Saira has made a large number of friends. Some are dragons from other clans, some are dragons not in a clan, and some are not dragons at all. Saira is interested in humans in particular, especially human children. Her travels have provided the Ruda Clan with lots of useful knowledge, about everything from the land to other clans and the other creatures they share their home with.
