It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aeya is a dragon who would never hurt even the cruelest of beasts, for she feels that all creatures deserve the gift of life. Her kind and gentle nature earns her a position of high respect, however she is very trusting of anyone or anything she meets, sometimes TOO trusting...especially with humans. Human hunters used to try and take advantage of her because of this and they would hold town meetings to discuss ways of capturing such an easily coaxable dragon. Encounter after encounter, they rendered her ability to fly useless by hacking away at the delicate membranes of her wings. Aeya was almost killed on several occasions with these dragon hunters; that is, until she met her savior. With her loyal mate Sojourner now by her side to protect her, she no longer has to worry about the dangers of wandering out into the forests and even has a family of her own to tend to.
