Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When Scarlet was a young hatchling, Daydreamer09 often warned her to never speak to any Michigan or Wolverine dragons.

"But, why can't I" The young hatchling would ask her mother.

"Because Michigan is the arch nemesis of the OSU Buckeyes, brave warriors from the Ohio valley, garbed in scarlet and gray." She went on to describe how in her world, these two opponents were countless times pitted against one another. The Buckeyes were a legion of knights called "Football players" who fought on a battlefield called "The Horseshoe". Every year, their wars and battles against Michigan shook the earth under the Midwest and reverberated throughout the country.

Scarlet was filled with a mix of fascination, awe and pride, listening to Daydreamer09's stories. The heroes that her mother described were amazing. For the rest of her life, Scarlet would strive to live up to her namesake.
