White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Guerisseur Healerhands was a hatchling, he was a member of a different clan, one that valued dragons only for their uses in war. As a white dragon, even though he was but a hatchling named 2-Apl, he was instantly assigned as clan medic, its 'war medic'. It was here that he learned of death. The medic must save who he can, and leave who he must, and there were very many that he had to leave to die in the blood- strewn sand.

When this proved to be too much to young 2-Apl, he was abandoned during his sleep. He was left in a cave that reeked of disease and death. There he found the sickly Duo Doubledash, who he vowed to stay with to the end.

He himself only had a few days to live when Heian Darkspine of the Shadowgaurd clan found them and took them under his wing. He is now no longer the traumatized hatchling found in the cave, but the strong, though sometimes gruff, medic of the clan.
