Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A powerful dragon, Nostradamus is Nefertem's second-in-command, leading the militant side of the group with his powerful claws and wings and is always the first into every battle. Using his affinity with the atmosphere to his advantage, he creates a thick fog around the enemy but not his dragons or causes each rival warrior to have a personal storm cloud above their head which rain like mad and occasionally shoot off small lightning bolts. He feels strongly for those under his command and prefers to rely on strategy rather than brute force to seize the victory. He prefers to release POWs, but when they are too dangerous or high up to be released, he makes sure that they are well taken care of. However, any soldier in his garrisons that has been discovered to have switched sides is left in the wilderness to survive on his own for having betrayed his friends to maybe even Death.
