Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Methodically gliding through the immense, snow-shrouded peaks of the North, Orca of the Cartel knows all too well she is being watched by the sentient, two-legged creatures below. She glances down momentarily, her enhanced vision allowing her to see the wary, upturned faces of the humans inhabiting the small encampment her rider has ordered her to circle.
'Down,' he shouts over the roar of the icy winds, and without further ado she obeys, plummeting into a steep dive. If she could grin, she would; the humans below are scattering at the sight of such a beast suddenly descending upon them. Orca shrieks amicably and she flares her wings, hitting the snow-packed ground outside the gates a little harder than she intended.
Her rider jumps from his perch and ignoring the thick sheen of oil on her skin to protect her from the cold, removes a glove and pats her snout affectionately. She coos contently; this is her life, and she wouldn't wish it any other way.
