Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cumala plays war games in the sky with Cholu, a sky dragon, even though he is an elder to her. Cholu is too peaceful for the hot-headed Cumala to stand. They act like a brother and sister, taunting each other from the air. Cumala likes to make it difficult for other sky dwellers by creating harsh winds. This is only when you catch her on a bad day, such as when the weather will not obey her commands. Cumala does have a lovable side when she is impressed by someone or something. Her favorite storm to conjure is thunder snow, when thunder and lightning occurs during a snow storm. She takes great pride in this very rare form of weather. Cumala normally won't cause a lot of trouble. She is indeed outnumbered by the other dragons living in the valley where she hunts and sleeps. She knows very well not to overdo it when she is grumpy.
