Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It’s learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Titine, a very animated hatchling with a strange disorder that stunted her growth, wishes for nothing more than to have children of her own. However, she has found it increasingly difficult to find a mate due to her appearance. She has also been informed by a white dragon that she is in fact too small to even produce eggs. Therefore, Titine has dedicated her time caring for rocks instead, pretending that they are her own eggs. Some dragons have even been fooled by the grayish color of the rocks that they truly are gray dragon eggs. Deep down, Titine knows her pretending is foolish, but she is simply too heartbroken about her disorder to stop.
