Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Richtera, a rather grumpy pebble dragon, is named for her tendency to create earthquakes when she is angry or irritated. Oftentimes in the morning, she will wake all the other dragons in the cave with roaring and violent tremors--particularly after a group of daring hatchlings has waked her prematurely. Her mate, Jord, is equally short-tempered, and he often contributes to the morning uproar.
