Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

She got her name after her human used a device to try and translate her character into a name, possibly to warn others of her nature. It is not a nice name, but then again, she isn't a nice dragon. Her human meant it to mean vain and selfish, the perfect description of her. It is because of the time her human saw her and Dansei Kanbyounin interacting. Dansei had been begging her to help him hold the dying hatchling still so he could comfort and heal it. Instead, she refused to help him saying she didn't want to get her claws all bloody, and turned away from him and the dying hatchling to go view and preen her frills in the reflection of a mud puddle.
