On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

1ibis usually seems mellow, resting in the water and performing mathematical calculations and using his hydromancy to carve glyphs into stone with a magical jet of water. Often, his calculations involve the moons. He only dances at night under brilliant moonlight, with rhythmical, sweeping motions that appear lethargic and mesmerising. His apathy leads him to ignore warnings and stay out much later than the others when storms blow in from the sea.

Sometimes, 1ibis gets excited and begins to pace in front of the mouth of a great river. At first, it looks like something is wrong with him. Then, as the tide shifts, a tidal bore forms and 1ibis leaps into it, dancing along the powerful wave that sweeps from the sea upstream. When the tidal bore ends, 1ibis floats slowly downstream back to sea. These great races are the moments he feels the most alive, and his solar, lunar, and planetary calculations are to identify precisely when the tides will be right for the bore to form.
