Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The dragons knew their cave didn't need yet another white dragon: there were already so many, it was almost impossible to distinguish them! So they ignored the abandoned nest and went on with their business.

However, when they came back they found out someone else had seen the nest, and the beautiful white egg was now a rotting mess. The cave didn't need another vampire either, but the egg somehow "got stuck" under Francis' wing and found a new home.

The dragons expected it to be unnoticed among the other eggs, but that evening, for a funny coincidence, Lizzy visited the cave after having listened to two tales about vampires and she immediately saw—and welcomed—the brownish egg. However, she stated feeding and taking care of the newcomer was the dragons' duty: this led to many bite marks on more than a wing (and a tail) for the following months.
