Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. One day, when Acivaka was looking at a pretty spring blossom, she noticed a dragon not so far from her. Normally Acivaka is very cautious, but that day she just couldn't help herself and went to talk with the dragon. Surprisingly, it was another Seasonal dragon and just like Acivaka, the dragon was a spring male one. They instantly found what to talk about and spent the day just lying in front of flowers and talking. When evening came, Avicaka didn't want to say goodbye, but when she asked who is the dragon's, named Ykahalo, owner, she was shocked to hear that they have the same owner. Happy, that she won't have to let go of Ykahalo, she decided to always be with him and Ykahalo admitted that he wanted the same thing.
