Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Red The Pokemon Master is a very quiet, shy Red Dragon who generally dislikes the company of other dragons. Some time ago, he decided to befriend animals instead, and he began taming the creatures that he would usually hunt. Red has gradually built up a menagerie of various wildlife from turtles to wildcats who, despite their usual fear of dragons, have become his closest friends and companions; his ultimate life goal is to tame at least one member of every species in existence. Because of his strange habit, and the fact that he is so shy that he rarely speaks, most of the other dragons in the Cave steer clear of Red and leave him alone with his animals. He does, however, have two friends among his own kind: Red's Pikachu, an Electric Dragon who he adopted when she was a tiny hatchling and who is almost as dear to him as his pets, and Dracopenguin the scrollkeeper. Dracopenguin pities the shy Red Dragon, and is now his mate as well as one of his best friends.
