Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Heartbreaking Beauty is a princess in all aspects. She is bossy, beautiful, and a royal pain. She has all the single males wrapped around her tail yet she never chooses a mate. Instead, she tends to seduce them into doing all her work and giggle about it afterward. Her best friend is Darling Destiny. Darling Destiny is not quite as shallow as Heartbreaking Beauty and can bring out deeper parts of Heartbreaking Beauty at times too. When her shallow exterior is wiped away, Heartbreaking Beauty can be very pleasant and easy to like. She connects well emotionally with others and she seems to be able to sympathize with almost anyone. Sadly, she is only like this when Darling Destiny manages to dig through all her outward shallow tendencies to the deeper creature inside. On most occasions, she will instead laugh at people behind their backs and not attempt to understand them. She has a bad habit of spreading painful and touchy gossip.
