Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eclipse that hides the Sun is quiet and rarely does anything. She had lost her courage a long time ago when a human tried to cut her heart out to gain eternal life. She was a very young hatchling and couldn't fight back. Luckily, Lightning that Lights the Sky was able to save her. Eclipse wasn't hurt physically but she was scarred mentally. Her best friend Wings of the Setting Sun helped her out of the depression. They did exercises to try and build up her courage. She slowly but surely grew more confident in herself and her abilities. She is now a very happy dragon. Her mate is Warrior that Fights Evil and they have the best children they could ever dream of. Eclipse is the twelfth dragon accepted into The Cave.
