Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mishketa is almost always dead silent, never saying a word unless it is to one of her friends. Mishketa expresses herself through flight and has been given the nickname of The Sky Dancer by her clan. She gracefully soars through the air somersaulting over and over again adding a barrel roll from time to time. She gets along well with the young hatchlings, taking them on rides through the air. Her favorite hatchlings to take on tours of the sky are the ones that when they grow into adulthood, will be grounded for time and eternity. She is very safe and doesn't go out on a limb when she flies, her dives end long before she reaches the ground. To her if one of her wings became damaged it would be the end of the world, flying gives her life and soul.
