Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Felshara was a troubled, moody hatchling, with a powerful magic that often erupted in wild, uncontrollable bursts, one of which merged one day with a teleport spell her father had been working on, sending her...elsewhere.  She was next seen several decades later, and where she spent the intervening years remains a closely guarded secret.

Felshara is considerably more outgoing and even-tempered than she was as a hatchling, and while she doesn't trust easily, she does so wholeheartedly.  She is more comfortable around humans than around dragons, seeming to understand them in a way no dragon should be able to.  Felshara is one of the few magi dragons not to fully support the Goldenmage Assembly, but doesn't actively oppose it, either.  All of this suggests quite a story, but the only one Felshara has trusted with her experiences besides her mate Aaromis is the elusive chronicler Mathcat (Felshara being one of the few dragons to have actually met her).
