Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.
And look! Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you’ve moved it to a larger body of water to swim in. It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
Because Tom Keifer was frozen as a hatchling that prevented him from maturing, Kayla0297 couldn't tell if it was a male or female. So he was just named, ignoring gender. He was frozen for scroll sorting reasons. Kayla0297 liked a female, male and a frozen hatchling of each breed. So Tom just has to live as a hatchling, socializing with dragons, that don't make fun of him not growing up. Luckily though, when he did get his gender, it was lucky that his gender fit his name, otherwise it would've been a girl dragon with a boy name!
