Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Like generations before her, Deiya is very beautiful. But with a major difference. She's scarred.

As a result of her two sides' feud, when Deiya was just an egg, she was already a target. A physical symbol of the love shared by Krios and Rae. It wasn't long before Natasha had specially targeted her.

A nasty, maroon burn extends down her throat as a result. A scar even her best friend, Deiynal, cannot heal. As a result, Deiya does not have the same stamina as a normal dragon her age. Fly too fast or fight too hard and Deiya cannot even breath. And although there are two generations of water dragons in her blood, she can't swim. This bothers her the most, as she has a passion for water.

She never quits trying. Deiya has a heart of gold.

She's not without flaws and takes on too much for one dragon by herself. Sometimes a little rash and high-strung, Deiya also has a definite sense of freedom and independence. And passions which burn as fiercely as the fires that gave her her scar.
