Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The egg was found in a cradle of a smoldering carcass. It was carried to a bright home and became a center of the adopter's obsession and calloused, caressing hands. It was the most powerful beast she had the honor to have. The other dragons in the adopter's care went neglected as it grew, since Jack would become the finest weapon for the kind adopter to wield once he grew. Insanity of the caretaker was diverted, to some of Jack's chagrin. He still grew up with affection and attention, fitting for the high burden he was. He became a close guardian of the caretaker.

He was boastful and violent, but he kept a deep loyalty to his fair caretaker Jade in adulthood, respecting her strength and unmoving compassion. Despite dwarfing her, he can sometimes be found trailing her with dog-like mannerism, even going so far as wagging his tail with his usual fixed scowl.
