Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Wagnerite likes swimming much more than flying. His favorite place is a lake surrounded by pretty evergreens, which he shares with many people who travel over to relax. Soon after he chose to live there, he became the region's first guard-of-lives. A guard-of-lives... well, guards the lives of those in the water. His daydreams soothe panicked swimmers as he drags them to shore, and for those in real danger of dying, the happy thoughts seem to make the resuscitation process less painful. Evidently, before Wagnerite took it upon himself, the humans could only recognize the people flailing and shouting needed help. The ones actually drowning, instinctively (i.e. quietly) trying to keep their mouths above the water, were left to disappear in the depths, unbeknownst to others that they were in trouble. It pained him to see lives needlessly lost, even those of humans. He's been educating some healthy swimmers on how to be guards-of-lives as well so he wouldn't have to be on duty all day.
