Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Sagalia was younger, she was part of the group that disobeyed their parents to go out looking for Skyforce, their only remaining Guardian Dragon. Though the role of leadership was unintentionally shared amongst the hatchlings (each having their own set of skills to match certain situations), it was still rather surprising that the laid back member of their party would step up to the challenge. If anything, this gave her an edge, allowing her to keep a clear head in stressful situations. Her more ridiculous ideas, however, were often reigned in by her now-mate Flame Flash, the Magi Dragon.

Now that she's older, she'd much rather be lying in the sun more than anything else. It's times such as these that, whilst she may appear to be sleeping, those who approach her are more often than not startled by a teasing comment or an off-handed remark. If the word 'fun' is mentioned, though, she'll be up in a flash and away before one could even tell her what they're doing.
