Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In Black is thoroughly a warrior and very proud of his strength in battle. Unfortunately his abilities in magic aren't as strong as those of other Blacks because he never had the patience to learn how to use them. When he was younger, he overestimated his own strength many times and fought enemies who were much stronger. He got badly wounded several times, but was always to proud to admit it and went on until he collapsed. This nearly brought him to death. Finally, he learned from his mistakes and now doesn't challenge every dragon he meets.

He loves to fight and isn't happy when he cannot fly off to find new opponents. Though he loves fighting, he would never turn against dragons much weaker than him.
