Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skrallak is a strong but quiet dragon. He loves simply watching a lightning storm, and the raw electric power he shares with it, more than anything. Unfortunately, Skrallak is not that well in control of his electricity yet, and accidentally lets it explode out often. When he sneezes, everyone has to duck and cover to avoid the shock- since Skrallak is highly allergic to cottonwood this is a real danger. He's trying very hard to fix that.

Skrallak also loves stories and myths, especially Norse ones. His name was made up to sound Norse. The same appeal that lightning storms hold for him is found in wild, ancient stories. Skrallak's quiet nature but attraction to raw power is something he has in common with his best friend since childhood, Ceniyat the Nebula Wyvern. The two took to each other quickly as hatchlings, and are still inseparable despite being an unlikely pair.
