Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

La Gargoyille, that masked vigilante that haunts the night, fancies herself a superhero. She should too, considering that she has the costume and the arch-enemies to prove it. Whenever she isn't protecting eggs from dangerous and diabolical Bitey McMeanie (that foe of foes!) who attempts to turn egg-lings into his own twisted vampire image (oh the horror!), she's facing off against the clever Evil Mistress of the cave, the only one that knows La Gargoyille's secret identity! (Mostly because the Evil Mistress is the one that raised La Gargoyille up from an egg... and provided the costume... but she's not about to spoil the dragon's fun. So long as 'fun' doesn't involve 'dropping the Evil Mistress into the lake. Again.') By day she's the decorative statue that makes the cave's entrance more snazzy. By night, protector of the weak and ally of justice! For as long as there is injustice, whenever a dragon hatchling cries out, wherever a distress roar echos among the rocks, she'll be there.
