Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Knight of the Shimmering Rays is an ultraviolet dragon. Even though he is strong physically, he is actually quite peaceful and friendly, and he always tries diplomatic solutions before combat. However, in the event that a hostile dragon is threatening his clan, he will not hesitate to use the most painful and brutal attacks in order to protect those he values. Although he is naturally heat-loving, he still braves the once-a-month trip to his clan's alpine camp to meet with his leaders and his "cold-blooded" friends. Even though he is a dorkface dragon, he refused to add the "ridiculous" addition to his name (he even wiped it out from his lineage), and even to this day, anyone that calls him that "insult" gets a free swipe in the face and a frightening roar.
