Tetra Dragons are often found in large groups. They are very social both with their own species and with others. Tetra Dragons are very active and change locations quite frequently. Males defend small parts of territory within the groups but major conflicts rarely occur. Tetra Dragons prefer territory with lots of natural hiding places and can be skittish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Loving Riverly is a skittish dragon. He prefers to live in the forest at the edge of the coast, and even though he loves to swim, he hates to swim in public and would rather do it somewhere where nobody can see him. Although when he gets started, others sometimes come and watch him, and he's normally too happy to notice them for a little while. Riverly defends his small territory as fiercely as he can and moves around quite often, especially if he sees something he thinks could be a threat to him and his well-being.
