Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tanat is very choosy in which trees he eats from. Every so often, he will snip off a particularly good branch and plant it on the edge of his home forest as a seedling. Tanat will also climb to the top of a sturdy tree and (if no humans are watching) spread his wings out and gorge himself on sunlight. Other times, he carries his Balloon dragon friend, Nalnei up to the treetops. Partly because he worries about Nalnei's health, partly because his friend chooses such good food to share. He likes to occasionally spend time on the ground with his master, Tender Talon. They often just sit and admire the foliage surrounding them. His mate Pvnez joins them during such calm times. The two Terrae dragons hit it off as soon as they met and have since been inseparable.
