Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fearful Asymmetry likes a good fight  partly because of having one wing shorter than the other; this turned him into something of a bully. He's a night owl, and likes hovering around cities seeing what spells he can cast on the inhabitants who are walking the streets in the dark.

If his friends are attacked, Fearful (who doesn't like to use his last name much; it reminds him of his deformity) will be the first to defend them, even when they are wrong. He's a good friend to have, except that defending people who are in the wrong can make things worse for them in the end.

His favourite spell ever so far was the day he tied up all the motorways across Europe with bits of spaghetti. Where he got the idea no-one knows, but it was seen as highly creative, if a bit silly.
