Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luminara Silvendean is a gentle, kind, loving and caring soul. She has the stance of a mother among the other dragons and is considered the wisest dragon of the clan. The other dragons often come to her if they need advice or the comfort of a mother's unconditional love. She is the main caretaker of the young dragons in the clan, or the mother figure to the dragons. Her job is to care for the eggs and then teach and raise the young dragons of the clan, no matter what species they may be. But don't let her calm and peaceful demeanor fool you, as she will stand and fight in order to defend her clan, but only if she feels there is no other more peaceful way.
