Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kiseki was found deep within the caves, the only one of his siblings to survive his family's attacker. The mother who watched over him passed on not long after he hatched, crawling through the mass of hair that was her mane in order to see what had occurred clearly. The eggs that would have been his brothers or sisters held a red glow as they seemed to change, growing cold and rotten to signify what had struck his home. These images burned deeply into his memory, the body of his mother and changed siblings, which refused to allow the Silver Dragon much rest. Taken by a traveler who made a vow to protect him, he went without resistance. Due to his past and the dark memory, he has a strong dislike for Vampire Dragons, and is willing to show it. The past has been hard to forget, though he found someone who could help control his anger and help him let go little by little.
