Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From her father's side of the family, Insincere Pain learned how to trick other dragons into thinking she loved them without returning their love. From her mother's side, she learned how to make sure other dragons had no reason to hurt her—or failing that, good reasons to not hurt her. The poet Volcanine wrote of her:

.

She'll take your heart for a wild ride,

With her, she says, you'll need no guide

Her longing stare, so dewy-eyed

You'll think you need her by your side

But hark: she's not a worthy bride.

.

At first, she'll bolster up your pride

She says her love spreads far and wide

But if you turn to her and chide

Or fail to wholly match her stride

Then Incincere will prove she lied

Turn on a whim to Mr. Hyde.

.

Perhaps she'll be preoccupied,

Planning out your philocide

She's pulled you out in her riptide

Her heart now clearly purified,

Her laughter tastes like cyanide.

.

Unfortunately, Volcanine made up a new word: 'philocide'—from 'philos', love, and '-cide', the act of killing.
