Vampire dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only "alive" at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

This vampire dragon would like to make it quite clear that no, he is not the Edward that everyone's been obsessing over lately. Just because he has golden eyes does not mean that they change color according to how hungry he is. He is not and never will be a vegetarian, as he likes eating defenseless dragon eggs way too much for his own good. Edward can't run any faster or jump any higher than any other dragon, he doesn't go out of his way to rescue females in distress, and he does not sparkle in the sunlight. Matter of fact, he hates the sunlight with a passion.

Just because his name is Edward, it doesn't mean that he does any of these things, and he politely asks you to get these ridiculous fantasies out of your head before he goes insane.
