Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Joshua the Golden found a little red egg lying in the underbrush one day when he was playing hunting games with the hatchlings.   He gathered the egg up and took it back to Hywyn for care.  "I hope its a boy so I can have a good friend!"  he exclaimed.

Even before the egg hatched, Joshua began calling it Tim.  He was so certain he would finally have the little brother he had always wanted.  But one day when he went to check with Hywyn, he told Joshua that his new-found friend was, indeed, a girl.  "It cant be!  No!  That' my brother!" shouted Joshua, refusing to believe the truth.

At Joshua's insistence, the little red girl was called Tim in spite of being female.  Joshua took her out and taught her to hunt, fight, and bravely defend the cave.  He showed her how she could use her fire-breath to warn away enemies.  Tim's tomboyishness pleases Joshua to no end, and they are constant companions.
