Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Immortal Gold is what many would describe as being 'proper'. He dots his i's, crosses his t's, and speaks in an articulate manner with an accent that few know where he picked up. Gold was aptly named for his scales, which glitter a brilliant gold. He polishes them twice a day, afraid of them becoming dull. When young Sheen came to the cave, Gold was quite taken with her. Adopting her as his sister, he watched her like a hawk until Blaze entered the picture. The red dragon was, in his eyes, inferior. For a Gold dragon to fall for a common dragon was bad enough, but to fall for a despicable prankster like Blaze- Never! He refused to stand for it! Unfortunately, lady luck was not on his side. Var supported the relationship between Blaze and Sheen, leaving Gold to wallow in his anger. Though he may not get along with Blaze, Gold gets along with others fine. He prefers spending his days holding intelligent conversations with the cave's other inhabitants, even though he can be uptight.
